ALICEVILLE- CEO Roshonda Clark, native of Aliceville, created a center for the youth and community called the Tranquility Pool Center (TPC). A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on August 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. to fully open the center.
Clark mentioned in her statement that she received the vision back in 2020.
“The real name of this building is Tranquility2020. It’s been a long time coming. We’re trying to get something together for the kids so that they can have some place to go, teach them to swim, teach them the basics of water because in our community, we don’t have that. The only way for us to get it was for someone to bring it.”
