CARROLLTON-The pavilion in Carrollton held its Grand Opening on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, honoring the Horace Lee Family. The pavilion was named after the family farm which is called Happy Acres Farm. After Horace and Faye Lee retired, Faye was trying to name their farm.

“Our mother came up with the name Horace and Faye Farm,” said Roger Lee. “She thought that wasn’t a really good name for the farm. She took the H that was in Horace and used it for the word Happy, and the A in the word And for Acres and the F in Faye for Farm. That’s how the farm became Happy Acres Farm. That is the history of how the farm came about. The happiness had a lot to do with the way we were brought up.”
