LIBERTY PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH CLEANING
Liberty Primitive Baptist Church, located about eight miles south of Gordo on Ray Bass Road, has changed its method of keeping the cemetery cleared. In the past, the cemetery was cleaned by volunteers, but this year, and hopefully in the future, they are paying to have the work done. The cemetery fund committee requests that no flowers be placed on the ground during grass cutting season. Please mark any floral saddles with your loved one ’s name, so that they can be replaced if blown off by the wind. They have made a list of all the loved ones buried there, with dates of birth and death. For a donation of $25 or more, you may receive a copy. This will also help in paying for the cemetery cleaning. If interested, you may contact Robert A. Lancaster, 1523 Galway Bay Circle, Northport, AL 35473.
