PROPHET WHITE TO PREACH AT ALICEVILLE RELIGIOUS CENTER
Prophet White from Grand Rapids, Mich. will be the preacher and prophet at the Aliceville Religious Center March 3-6 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. For more information, contact Willie Washington at 373-6472.
MISSION’S WHITE DRESS MARCH AT NEW CANAAN BAPTIST CHURCH
New Canaan Baptist Church will hold its Mission’s White Dress March on Sunday, March 7, at 3 p.m. New Jerusalem Baptist Church of Greensboro will be the guests. Its pastor, Rev. Johnny Anderson, will be the guest speaker. Rev. Lonnie Weaver is the pastor. Sis. Emma Walker is the chairperson.
SONGS OF FAITH TO PERFORM AT NEW BEGINNING CHURCH
 The Songs of Faith will be singing at New Beginning Church at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 7. The church is located three miles west of Gordo on the Reform-Gordo Road.
BUGS AND BOWS FUNDRAISER FOR MT. PLEASANT BAPTIST CHURCH
Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Gordo will host a fundraiser for their Children’s Ministry Mar. 10-13 called “Bugs n Bows” – A Spring and Summer Consignment Sale for the Whole Family. Shop for great deals on gently used Spring and Summer clothing and accessories plus toys, nursery  items, household items, furniture, etc.  Hours will be: Wednesday, Mar 10, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday, Mar 11, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, March 12, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday March 13, 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
EIGHTH ANNUAL GORDO GOSPEL SINGING TO BE MARCH 13
The Eighth Annual Gordo Gospel Singing is scheduled for Saturday, March 13, at the Gordo First United Methodist Church Family Life Center.  Please join them for a wonderful evening of great southern gospel music starting at 6:30.  The program this year features the Capstone Quartet, 4given Quartet, The Methodist Men's Choir, and Jessica Gray Hughes.   The annual Gordo Gospel Singing is sponsored by Gordo Lodge 564, and admission is free.
ALL DAY SACRED HARP SINGING AT ZION COMMUNITY CENTER
There will be an all day Sacred Harp singing at the Zion Community Center (the Old Zion Schoolhouse) on Saturday, March 13 beginning at 9:30 a.m.   There will be a covered dish lunch. Elder Ricky Harcrow will be the moderator.
ANNUAL SPRING CONCERT AT MT. HEBRON BAPTIST CHURCH
 The Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Mass and Male Choir of Aliceville will have their annual concert packed with songs of pure, passionate praise for Christ on Sunday, March 14, at 3 p.m. under the direction of Rev. Marcus C. Wright, Minister of Music. Rev. James C. Wright is the Pastor. Come and be blessed.
SOUTHERN GOSPEL CONCERT AT MACEDONIA FREE WILL BAPTIST CHURCH
There will be a Southern Gospel concert featuring Perry-Reed & Company of Dahlonega, Ga. at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church. The group members are Debra Perry Reed, original soprano of the Perrys, her husband Christopher Reed, formerly with the Blackwoods and Tony Brothers, along with Bryan Hawkins. Macedonia Church is located three miles south of  Millport at 865 Macedonia Church Circle, off County Road 27.
MISSIONARY DAY AT BEEBE CHAPEL CME CHURCH
The pastor and members of Beebe Chapel CME Church of Pickensville cordially invite the public to its annual Missionary Day/Nine Fruits of the Spirit on March 14 at 3 p.m. The speaker will be Elder Oscar Massey of the North Central Alabama Regions, Tuscaloosa District. The theme is “If we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit” and is taken from Galatians 5:25. William Miles is the pastor, and Sis. Louise Ball is the Missionary President.
YOUTH REVIVAL AT MT. CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH
There will be a youth revival at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Carrollton March 15-17 at 7 p.m. nightly. Pastor Tyshawn Gardner of Plum Grove Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa will be the speaker. The theme is “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it ” and is taken from Proverbs 22:6.
HOMECOMING AT REFORM FIRST FREE WILL BAPTIST CHURCH
First Free Will Baptist Church of Reform, located on Highway 17 South, will be held Sunday, March 21, at 1 p.m. The guest singers will be Palmetto Gospel Bluegrass.
YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION AT GALILEE BAPTIST CHURCH
There will be a Youth Day Celebration at Galilee Baptist Church in Panola on March 21 at 3 p.m. The theme is “Trained for Knowledge, Well-Entertained with the Wisdom of God” and is taken from Proverbs 22:6 and 13:24. The speaker will be Pasor Michael Barton; the emcee is Bro. Kendrick Barnes. The event is being sponsored by the Galilee Youth Department.
SERNIOR ADULT REVIVAL TO BE HELD AT STANSEL BAPTIST CHURCH
Bro. Herman Parker, pastor of First Baptist Church in Bremen, Georgia, will be the evangelist for the Ninth Annual Pickens Baptist Senior Adult Revival March 22-24 at Stansel Baptist Church. Services begin at 10 a.m. each day and will be followed by a dinner in the church fellowship hall. Congregational singing, special music and testimonies by senior adults will round out the worship program for each service. The Senior Adult Revival is for persons 55 and older, especially... but everyone is invited.
MATRONS DAY PROGRAM AT NEW HOME MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH
The Matrons of The New Home Missionary Baptist Church of Gordo would like to invite you to our annual Matrons Day Program on Sunday, March 28, during their 11 o'clock service. The theme is “Now, Go Light the World” and is taken from Ephesian 5:8-14.  Rev. C. Wayne Davis is the pastor.

Brown’s Chapel Church of God of Prophecy in Gordo has announced that its homecoming date has been changed to the fourth Sunday in April, April 25. Guest singers will be the Songs of Faith. The public is invited to join them for lunch and fellowship.

SERIES ON TEACHING CHILDREN OFFERED AT BETHLEHEM PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH
On the first and third Wednesday nights of each month at 6:30 p.m., Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church will be holding a series on "Teaching Our Children."   This series will use as a basis the popular book "Shepherding a Child's Heart" by Tedd Tripp.  Possessing a copy of this book is NOT a prerequisite for attending the series.
