AMERICAN BAPTIST COLLEGE REGISTRATION
The Galilee Baptist Church of Panola is hosting the American Bible College. Registration for the 2012 spring semester began Jan. 19 and runs through Feb. 3. Classes begin at 6 p.m. each Thursday. All interested parties should contact Pastor Bob Nelson Little at 205-454-5703. This course is designed for all individuals who want to broaden or deepen their knowledge of the Bible.

MINERAL SPRINGS BAPTIST CHURCH TO SCREEN MOVIE

Mineral Springs Baptist Church of McShan will show the movie “Courageous,” which is from the creators of “Fireproof,” on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 7 p.m. Admission will be free for this event, and popcorn and drinks will be provided free of charge as well. “EMPOWERING A NEW YOU”PROGRAM AT ALICEVILLE HIGH SCHOOL
Hear inspiring words, hear soul stirring songs, and see dramatic performances at the “Empowering a New You!” program to be held at the Aliceville High School gymnasium. This special event will be on Sunday, Feb. 5, at 3 p.m. and is sponsored by Mt. Calvary Baptist (Rev. James Bush, pastor) and Pine Grove Baptist Church (Rev. Carlos Calhoun, pastor) of Carrollton.
REVIVAL AT NEW HARMONY BAPTIST CHURCH
New Harmony Baptist Church will hold a revival Feb. 5-9. The evangelist will be Tim Tindle, pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church of Coker. There will be special singing each night. James Moss is the pastor.
NEW SALEM BAPTIST CHURCH SPAGHETTI SUPPERS RETURN
With the holidays past and things back to normal, New Salem Baptist Church, located at County Road 3 near Reform, is bringing back its second and fourth Wednesday night suppers are back, starting Feb. 8. The menu is spaghetti, garden salad, garlic bread, dessert and drink for only $8 a plate. Serving runs from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and is available for both eat-in and carry-out. Reservations are not necessary but are appreciated as they help make sure they don ’t run short of food. DEACONS CELEBRATION AT PROVIDENCE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH

ELEVATE 2012 COMING TO GORDO
ELEVATE 2012 is a life-changing, high-energy Christian experience for students in grades 1 through 12, that will challenge students to a new and deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. ZION PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH SUNDAY NIGHT MEETINGS
Zion Primitive Baptist Church in the Zion Community will be meeting each Sunday night at 5 p.m. The church is located eight miles north on Highway 159 from Gordo, turn left on County Road 49. The church is on the right.
SERVICES AT BETHLEHEM PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH
Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church is located seven miles east of Gordo and 10 miles west of Northport, just off Highway 82 on the Boyd Road near Echola. Spirit and Truth Pentecostal Church will have a morning glory intercessory prayer every Saturday morning at 5 a.m. Intercessory prayer aims to build people into what God wants of them, not tear them down. Talya Ball is the evangelist.
